ATLAS embodies a vision in automation and self-testing which would soon be commonplace in the near future in a society battling against viruses such as the Covid19. As a collective effort, our group in the entrepreneurship class under the guidance of Prof. J R Songwe of SCAD, we designed this testing booth and supported it with research around the importance of unmanned testing sites. This comes at a crucial time since the current medical testing system is overburdened with testing for Covid19 cases, however in the case of such new outbreaks, the current system is still ill-equipped to handle them. ATLAS' importance is exponential in such cases.
